Color Seeds by Design Seeds

Mr. Logical and I pretty much decided tonight that we are going to be staying in our condo for longer than we had originally planned.  This will let us save up some more money for a nicer house, as well as keep our commutes relatively shorter than they would be if we moved, as well.

Now that we've reached this conclusion, I've decided to go ahead and paint our bedroom.  It's a tricky space, because it gets very little natural light.  I also couldn't find a white quilt in the size we needed, so the color palette I had originally envisioned is not going to work.  I am really liking this color palette from Design Seeds.  Our quilt is the middle color.

Moving & Consolidating

I got married three weeks ago. It was a beautiful, wonderful wedding in one of our favorite places, and the honeymoon gave me a new favorite place. It was over all too quickly, and now I am back to the daily grind of work and school, but now I have moving thrown into the mix as well.

My husband owns a two bedroom condo, and I have enough stuff for a one bedroom apartment. We have been working over the past few weeks to determine what to do with all of our excess household goods, because really how many cans of baking powder do two people really need? (Hint: the answer is not five!) We are not fully settled into our new lives together, but there is an end in sight, January 28th, when we plan to invite my parents over for dinner. So between now and then, I have to busily rearrange all the closets, bookshelves, and cabinets to accommodate our new shared life.
