Suburbia

The community we live in is set up so nicely for taking walks.  We have awesome sidewalks and walking paths, and over the past week, Spock and I have been exploring them.

The cherry blossoms are out along one of the paths we walk.  They always remind me of my childhood and our huge Japanese double blossom cherry tree.

Spring

Spring has sprung here in our corner of the world, as we have found on our multiple daily walks.  I've been thinking about how to spruce up our house for spring.  I still want to make that cute little galvanized bucket herb garden, but I'm trying to think of something for the front door.  Maybe a cute wreath?

Daffodils

Our mild winter means that my favorite flowers are out a little earlier than usual.  I took these photos as I left work yesterday, on my way to a meeting.  They're so bright and cheery!
